Call it whatever you want, but my body wasn't able to endure it anymore. I shut down. I know the times when I'm lazy, but today's just unbearable. I didn't want to move from anywhere away from my bed. It's like my body forced my responsibilities to cease for a day. And it's a Monday. Perhaps two days of weekend weren't enough. I was sick, but I didn't have a cold or a fever. I just stayed in bed doing nothing.

I didn't care when Kei dropped by. I told her to let herself in and to lock the door when she leaves.

Actually when Kei was here, she didn't nag me or anything. She let me do as I pleased. She was just there. Like me, in the bed, I was just here lying on my back. Maybe because she figured out that it was really a serious atmosphere. Maybe she knows that I need the time off.

"Oniichan, I just have to ask this before I go. Why didn't you go to school today?"

"I'm tired. And I don't really want to talk about it." I said.

We barely talked and she left before it got dark. Good. I didn't want to walk her to the station too.

"It's fine. There are times when the body shuts down no matter how healthy a person is." says Kei before she closed the door. That's good to hear. This means that I'm not yet a mess. So what do I have to do further to be a mess?

Sigh. Such is living the dreamed life.
