Now that I've finished a couple of chapters, I'm free this weekend. But do you know what sucks hard? It's when you're finally free from work and everything, but you get sick during the days-off. That's right. Not only do I have a stiff neck, but I've caught the flu. It's one of those days again where pulling all nighters get you sick with the cold. And then the cold develops into a flu. It's terrible, I tell you. I couldn't sleep and my joints hurt. Especially my neck. I can look around. Imagine that. I can't even cough properly. I think I'm going to die from this pain. First day of the flu is really ugly.

TITLE: push it to the limit

"I'll send it tomorrow afternoon, chief. Thank you." Sigh. I can't believe how relieved I am. I made it before the deadline. Finishing the last panels was from pure determination. I just pushed myself until I finished. It's only 11pm but I did it!


After wrapping up my work, I went to the convenience store for something to eat. Heck no, I did not settle for instant noodles. This calls forth a proper dinner and a proper celebration. Turkey breast sandwich and pop! Don't laugh. On my way home, I still can't wipe off my smile, because I really thought I wouldn't make it. I didn't want to spend my time overnight working on the panels because it's a school night. But I guess I'll be able to sleep tonight.
